November 1, 1946 - February 12, 2025
Cynthia (Cindy) Cooper Sullivan passed away very
peacefully the morning of February 12, 2025 after a short and hard fight with
Lung Cancer. She was 78.
She was the daughter of Lew and Lois Cooper of Wilson,
NC who have both predeceased her. She is survived by her husband of 25 years,
Allen Sullivan of Garner, NC; her daughter and husband, Elizabeth & Ryan Roche
of Coats, NC; and her granddaughters, Kayla and Kyra, of Cary, NC. Her extended
family consists of Allen’s sons and their wives, Timothy and Emily Sullivan of
Zebulon, NC; Kevin and Kristy Sullivan of Raleigh, NC; sister of the heart,
Karen Cooper of Simpsonville, SC; and son of the heart, Craig Stevens of Apex,
NC.
She loved her family and friends. She was a firm
believer of all human rights. She supported the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue
and Rehabilitation Hospital in Surf City, NC; loved the Carolina Hurricanes and
NASCAR and especially Little E, Dale Earnhardt, Jr.
Since she was cremated at
Montlawn Memorial Park, Funeral Home & Cremations at her request with no
funeral, there will be a Memorial Service followed by a Reception Downstairs
with Food and Drink starting at 2 PM on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Westminster
Presbyterian Church located at 301 East Whitaker Mill Road, Raleigh, NC.
